Website and hosting

This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. When you visit, the hosting provider processes technical connection data, including your IP address, time of access, requested address and browser and operating system information, to operate and secure the website and diagnose errors.

According to Infomaniak, access and error logs are retained for at least seven days. No additional visitor profiles or separate copies of these logs are created for advertising.

Contact by email

Business emails run through Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. Incoming emails are forwarded to a Google Gmail account for handling; outgoing emails are sent via Infomaniak. Google may also process data in the USA and is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which Switzerland recognises as providing adequate data protection. When you get in touch, your details are used to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare and carry out an order. Please send only the information needed for this and never any passwords.

The contact form prepares a message locally in your email app. It is sent only when you click Send there. The website itself does not store form entries or transmit them to a form server.

Free profile check (form)

For the free profile check, a form from the provider Tally (Belgium) can be used, which this website links to. Tally processes the data on my behalf. By clicking, you leave findfix.ch. The data collected are your name, the business name, your email address, the page you came from, and your confirmation that I may use the data for the profile check and a personal reply. I use the data to prepare the profile check and to contact you by email. I only send you promotional emails with your explicit consent.

Tally states that it stores data in Europe. Depending on Tally’s settings, further service providers may be involved, also outside Switzerland and the EEA, for example in the USA. I keep the data only as long as the request and any resulting order require; statutory obligations remain reserved.

Retention and recipients

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and the relevant business transaction, subject to statutory retention duties. Access is available to the operator and, as needed for hosting and email operations, Infomaniak, and Google for handling incoming emails. Other service providers and necessary access are agreed separately for client work.

Hosting and sending email run through a Swiss provider. Received emails are also stored with Google (see above). Your own email provider and the transmission route may involve further recipients and countries.

First contact with businesses

Publicly available professional contact details, their source and information about a business’s online presence may be used to prepare a business enquiry. A public address alone is not consent to advertising. Contact is made only where legally permitted. You can object to further marketing contact at any time, free of charge, by replying. A minimal suppression record is retained to respect your wishes and checked before any further contact.

Cookies and external content

This website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served with the website. External links are subject to the privacy information of the destination website.
